    • Responsible for personal safety and monitor the safety of others
    • Must follow the quality management system policy and procedures
    • Communicate with previous shift lead about key information.
    • Obtain all necessary supplies
    • Review and post schedule for line
    • Verify correct orders are being ran (style, color, stamp, labeling, packaging)
    • Coordinate Personnel into needed positions
    • Assure all supplies are in place when needed
    • Constant monitoring of all quality checks
    • Arrange and monitor all break schedules and assist if needed
    • Monitor safety practices to assure all procedures are being followed correctly
    • Assume supervisor’s duties when needed
    • Monitor dust collection system
    • Troubleshoot machine problems
    • Gather all necessary forms and file in appropriate place
    • Enter data






    Essential Skills and Experience:  

    • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
    • Flexible for all shifts
    • Computer efficient
    • Must pass the IVC-US color vision test
    • 2 years previous mechanical or maintenance experience
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
    • Commitment to company values and safe work practices
    • Excellent attention to detail


    Nonessential Skills and Experience:

    •   Prior leadership experience desired


    Physical Demands and Work Environment:


    - Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel object, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk; and hear.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include color vision, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


    - Work environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.  The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal
