    • Special consideration is taken into place to ensure that gang jobs are placed back-to-back.
    • Places swatch boxes in correct swatching order on swatch shelves and      continually feeds swatch boxes onto shelves.
    • Confirms that swatch colors in boxes are correct by opening each box and comparing sample swatch to color guide
    • Places tops at end of glue line on roller shelf and continually feeds the top shelf.
    • Places pallets of unswatched product at feed end of glue line and removes stretch wrap from pallets, keeping pallet ID stickers with pallet.
    • Reviews Worker Order paperwork for special swatching/packing instructions and places with first pallet of new job.
    • Stamps out color guide on clicker press if none is available.
    • Stacks and moves empty pallets from end of glue line.
    • Ability to view and discern similar colors and be able to determine pile direction of swatches.
    • Confers with Crew Leader and glue line Programmer on best practices for swatching configuration to ensure smooth transition and most profitable use of labor from one job to the next.
    • May occasionally be called upon to act as a Glue Line Swatcher if  needed, so knowledge of job description is valuable.
    • Responsible for changing out white glue drums when needed.
    • Works around and with hot and cold glue applicators.
    • Other duties as requested by management


    • High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
    • Successful completion of on the job training programs.
    • Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
    • Reads and writes in standard English and proficient performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction
    • Must be able to pass color vision test
    • Must be able to drive lift truck
    • Must be an effective team member.
    • Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with others in the immediate work unit and in related support areas.
    • Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions.
    • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
    • Working conditions include hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and noise.
    • Requires standing more than 2/3 of time.
    • Requires regular lifting up to 50 pounds
