    Responsibilities

    • A Tufting Mechanic II is responsible for maintaining all tufting related equipment. 
    • They are also responsible for setting up styles on the machines, maintaining or repairing the warpers, repairing and adjusting mending guns, and identifying and repairing any tufting related defects.

     

    Qualifications

    • Must have mechanical aptitude
    • Understanding of basic mechanical operation of a tufting machine
    • Basic knowledge of tool types and uses
    • Must have an excellent attendance record
    • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
    • Must be willing and able to move and lift up to 50lbs several times during the shift
    • Work at heights up to 25 feet.
