    Responsibilities

    Job Tasks: 

    • Assist with weekly shutdown PM’s
    • Work with lead maintenance technician repairing breakdowns (replacing conveyor belts, chains, sprockets and bearings).
    • Change grinder blades
    • Fill all propane tanks
    • Perform job while abiding by all safety rules and good housekeeping practices according to company guidelines
    • Maintain all paperwork
    • Perform all other duties assigned of GM I
    • Welding - Arc and Acetylene

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Industrial Maintenance experience
    • Physical abilities: ability to climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, lift 50 pounds
    • Must have lift truck certification or ability to obtain certification
    • Basic skills in troubleshooting
    • Ability to work flexible hours
    • Basic understanding of mechanical practices
    • Ability to be on an "On-Call" status
    • Must be able to arc and acetylene weld.
    • Must be able to work weekends, holidays
    • Self-Motivator
    • Realistic position demonstration required.
