    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 


    Set up Bill of Materials for sample devices, schedule the manufacturing, expedite and, procure all components needed to manufacture sample device.


    • Performs various customer service duties such as: assisting customers in determining order requirements, answering customer inquires, providing samples, providing direction/selection assistance.  Uses computer systems such as AS400 system, JD Edwards, and PC’s.
    • Produces daily reports.
    • Maintains accurate and detailed records to keep in compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • May perform warehouse & manufacturing duties as required.
    • Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.
    • Implement new products/ programs into launch system. Establish product in launch, create bill of materials and have production and or mockups scheduled for production.  Follow through with promise dates on production and monitor until complete.   Work with outside vendors and/or creative on new designs on labels and hardware.  Work with product development and production planning on specific color lines for customer and product yardage needed for production and/or mockups.   Work with sample manufacturing and outside vendors on production problems and promise dates for new products.  Work with sample shipping on shipping dates and boxing requirements for customer.   Work with and provide customer service with store shipping lists for order entry of products, then monitor process.
    • Work with outside printing companies on new product set up.  Receive proofs of new products to approve for production.  Work directly with customer on specific information needed for new product and or program.   Work with outside sample vendors on mockups or special sample projects.
    • Solve any problems that may arise with customer, outside vendors, and internally.   Problems, such as incomplete information, mislabeled samples, carpet shortages etc.




    • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups or customers or employees of organization.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret a variety of information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Performs with limited latitude for independent action and judgment within the framework of the job. Work is verified in the context of recommendations for action to department management
    • Organization, math, time management, computer skills, detail oriented, customer service, and safety conscious.
    • Knowledge of computer systems such as AS400 system and JD Edwards. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
