    Responsibilities

     

    Safely operates a variety of industrial powered equipment in the distribution of laminate flooring.

     

    Ensures timely movement of finished goods inventory into warehouse locations at the Thomasville facility. 

     

    • Complies with all safety rules and procedures.
    • Moves finished pallets between the pack line, and warehouse locations.
    • Ensures pack line area and machine is fulfilled with packaging supplies.
    • Places empty pallets in location and attaches bar codes.
    • Monitors pack line and makes adjustments to pack line operation as needed.
    • Assist in the unloading of shuttles on and loading of trucks.
    • Pulls bulk pallets of flooring from warehouse to docks
    • Pulls product (bulk pallets using forklift or individual boxes manually) and transports from warehouse to docks using forklift
    • Loads trucks 
    • Unload trucks 
    • Picks product from rack locations
    • Performs Cycle Counts for picking and bulk Locations
    • Audits pallets to ensure accurate order fulfillment 
    • Communicates with Team Lead on location discrepancies  
    • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

    Qualifications

     

    • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
    • Warehousing and Distribution
    • 3-5 years of forklift/stand-up lift experience
    • Experience working with a hand held barcode scanner and computer is preferred
    • Achieves minimum acceptable levels on Work Keys assessment tests for Applied Mathematics, Applied Technology, Locating Information and Reading for Information
