    Unload/load +/- 50 truckloads of material daily using various industrial powered trucks, confirm receipts against packing slip and purchase order, accurately enter the appropriate information into computer systems and fill out paperwork as required.

    • Complies with all company safety rules and procedures, including housekeeping
    • Complies with Zero Landfill initiatives
    • Operates forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials as necessary to support the production of >300 million square feet of laminate flooring annually in fast pace, high volume, 24/7 manufacturing operation
    • Verifies the packing slip against items received, matching material description, quantity and purchase order number to ensure accuracy between what the supplier said they sent and what they actually sent
    • Verifies the packing slip against the delivery schedule, matching material description, quantity and purchase order number of items received to ensure accuracy between what supplier sent and what was ordered
    • Communicates closely with Inventory Control supervision and Planners to confirm delivery schedules, ensuring all are delivered on time and accurately
    • Ensures SOX compliance related to receiving +/- 50 truckloads of material daily by making sure system entries are accurate and all required paperwork is complete and turned in to supervision
    • Reports any material quality concerns to planning
    • Uses multiple information systems to maintain receiving accuracy, including, but not limited to, shop floor control, Locus, Excel, Outlook and other shipping and warehouse house management systems
    • Operates forklift, stages materials for production, unloads trucks and generates shipping notes for satellite facilities as needed
    • Uses pallet jack to push/pull pallets of boxes weighing up to 700 lbs. to move to storage locations
    • Bands scrap material, etc as necessary to execute general house cleaning duties
    • Completes other duties as assigned by management



    ·         High School Diploma or equivalent         

    ·         1 -3 years forklift experience

    • Basic WMS experience, Excel experience a plus
    • Basic arithmetic skills
    • Attention to detail, accurate
    • Ability to communicate effectively, productively and professionally with team members, other departments, and external drivers
    • Excellent attendance, including punctuality, required
    • Must be able to be flexible with scheduled hours as required by business needs
    • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
    • Must be able to push/pull pallets of boxes weighing up to 700lbs using pallet jack
