    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

     

    The Material Handler is responsible for job duties that include loading and unloading trailers.  

     

    This position performs the following duties. 

    • Responsible for loading the conveyor belt with fiber.

    • Responsible  for relocating bales of fiber from the warehouse or trailer to machine in an orderly manner.

    • Weigh purge and locate to proper location.

    • Weigh pellet and store properly.

    • Responsible for filling and changing propane gas tanks on lift truck.

    • Maintain logs for the department.

    • All department housekeeping, maintain a safe and clean work environment.

    • Learn the basics of the machine.

    • Any miscellaneous duties as required by supervisor.

    Qualifications

     Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalency required

    • Good oral and written communication skills

    • Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    • Transportation to satellite warehouses

    • Have of ability to obtain lift truck certification.

    • 20/40 vision or better in both eyes independently
