    Night Shift


    Work Safely, Obeying all Plant Rules & Procedures.

    Maintain a clean and orderly workplace for your assigned areas.

    Deliver needed materials to manufacturing floor locations. Items to be included are waste yarn tubes, cardboard trays and dividers and trash containers.

    Retrieve supplies from supply room as directed by crew leader                                                      

    Obtain cardboard for bays using red cardboard carts and refill as needed.                                      

    Waste Tubs Handling:                                                                                                     

    Keep yarn waste pulled from receiving bins frequently and not let bins overfill                              

    Attach correct product sign on waste tubs                                                     

    Pull waste collection tubs from bays using pallet jack and place in appropriate location                

    Restock bay with empty waste collection tubs as needed                                                     

    Make tickets and attach to waste tubs with AS400 program following correct denier, product      

    and tare weights.                                                        

    Put ticketed waste tubs in proper storage location at baler or other areas as directed by management                                                        

    Waste Baling:                                                           

    Using waste tickets to determine appropriate bale press                                                       

    Make bales using Baler's 1,2 or 3 and use correct product to combine bale                                     

    Follow all procedures for strapping, wrapping and moving bale to appropriate location.                

    Follow all procedures for using baler and compressing material into bale                                       

    Use backing rolls to keep bale wrap tub stocked                                                      

    Use ladder at baler and follow all safety rules required.                                                       

    Housekeeping and other duties:                                                     

    Keep appropriate materials in the re-cycle container (cardboard, plastic, aluminum)                      

    Keep area mopped and swept, this includes areas in the bays and the main aisle                             

    Give stretch wrap driver breaks                                                         

    Complete lift truck certification and training                                                

    Complete and participate BBS/Pinpoint Observations                                                          

    Attend training and other meetings as required.

    Use of lift truck, pallet jack, or cart to obtain materials from storage and position in location        

    Other duties as directed by management


    Ability to lift 40 lbs.

    Ability to walk up and down stairs

    Ability to converse and write  in English.

    Have experience operating a lift truck.

    Basic computer skills, knowledge or ability to learn AS400 screens and required inputs.

    Work outdoors as required.
