    Responsibilities

    • Complies with all safety rules and procedures
    • Performs Process duties
    • Performs startup and runs the Press Lines
    • Participates in product and or process troubleshooting processes as required to solve existing problems and as a means of providing cost improvement for the end product
    • Assists in Change Over on any Press Line
    • Performs Forklift Team Member duties:
    • Loads MDQ and PAL (Décor, Overlay and Backer) onto Press In-feed
    • Use of Various Computer Applications to determine correct material to be loaded on the line
    • Completes Daily Forklift Safety Checklist
    • Performs Inspection duties:
    • Performs quality testing on finished product; does 100% visual inspection on product that is set out for testing to identify any defects, and uses master sample to ensure correct product is being run
    • Visually inspects panels and marks each defect found to ensure that it gets rejected at the finish line
    • Communicates quality issues to the press operator and recommends needed adjustments
    • Follows controls and procedures so that the end product is produced to established quality standards
    • Conducts Housekeeping responsibilities as required
    • Records material consumption and production in appropriate computer applications

    Performs all other related duties as assigned by management

    Qualifications

     

     

     

     

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Forklift experience or willingness to learn to operate forklift
    • 1+ years of manufacturing experience in a fast paced work environment
    • 1+ years of experience with automated machines
    • Basic computer skills
    • Good mechanical aptitude/Machine operation knowledge
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Attention to detail
