    • Must follow all safety rules and regulations including to but not limited to, lock out tag out, confined space entry and hazardous material handling.
    • Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot power transmission system and components.
    • Troubleshoot and repair all plant electrical equipment.
    • Must be able to safely install and repair 480 volt three phase; motors, drives, starters, switch gears, and service lines.
    • Must be able to read electrical schematics and specify new or replacement components for equipment.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Must be able to climb and work at heights up to 100 ft.
    • Must be flexible to work extended hours, holidays and weekends.
    • Must be able to troubleshoot programmable logic controllers and variable frequency drivers.
    • Must be able to use computers and understand network functions. Must be able to program logic controllers.
    • Develop and use blueprints to wire, install, build and troubleshoot electronic and electrical equipment and controls.
    • Diagnose repair or replace damaged or broken wires\cables, printed circuit boards, modules, or sensors associated with malfunctioning electrical apparatus such as transformers, motors and motor controllers, lighting circuits and fixtures, temperature controllers, AC and DC drive motor controllers.
    • Must have experience in the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, megger, computer, and other troubleshooting equipment as deemed necessary by Maintenance Manager.

    May occasionally come in contact with acetone while performing daily tasks. 

    When coming in contact with acetone the following applies:

    • Must be sure that all spills are cleaned up
    • All containers must be kept closed except for removing or replacing acetone
    • All containers are to be properly labeled and stored.
    • After using acetone it must be recycled and waste must be properly stored

    Acetone is considered a hazardous material and anything that comes in contact with acetone must be treated the same and stored as hazardous waste


    • Degree from an accredited college as an Electronics Technician, or equivalent combination of education and expereince.
    • Annual Hazardous Waste Training to include: What constitutes a Hazardous Waste, Company Policy and Procedures for handling, labeling, and proper disposal of Hazardous waste and other Regulated Waste of the Facility. This employee is made aware of emergencies that relate to Hazardous Waste but is not certified to respond to emergencies involving Hazardous Waste or Hazardous Material. This employee does not handle acetone or acetone waste as part of their daily job duties however it is specified in training to not use acetone or acetone waste around electrical components.
    • Industrial experience is preferred.
