The CTS operator performs various job functions to support the operation on the CTS Line.  The duties range from cleaning the CTS line to changing saw blades when needed.


  • Know procedure for turning power on/off to Angular saw. 
  • Know how to properly lock-out any and all areas of the Angular before entering caged area.
  • Know how and when to initialize entire saw.
  • Able to properly operate and identify controls of machine, including writing of M-Plans
  • Know how to feed panels into the alignment table.
  • Adjust standard material parameters to load material more efficiently
  • Adjust suction and counterblow valves when necessary.
  • Change saw blades.
  • Change suction cups/inner rings
  • Able to make minor repairs to the saw
  • Read patterns to assign destacking data.
  • Adjust run times for excessive waste.
  • Determine useable and total square meters.
  • Familiar with machine parts
  • Change roller track speeds
  • Change saw speeds
  • Roll pallet in/out to feed station and offstacking station.
  • Monitor material run through saw
  • Able to operate single beam saw.
  • Observes safe work practices in compliance with the safety policy
  • Able to monitor the performance of the employees on the floor during production hours.
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Please note: This is a Day shift position, 6 am - 6 pm. Subject to change. 



1 yr experience in a manufacturing setting.


Light Mechanical Skills

Computer literate

Good communication skills

Forklift Certification

Math skills


Must be able to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time on concrete.

Must be able to push or pull 50 lbs frequently and up to 80 lbs occasionally.

Must be able to work in varying temperatures up to 110 degrees and work in a dusty environment.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 80 lbs. occasionally.

Must be able to climb vertical ladders, multiple flights of stairs and work off elevated surfaces.

Must not have any limitations in regards to working in confined spaces.

Must be able to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and steel toe shoes.

Must be able to make repetitive motions involving twisting and turning.

Must be able to kneel and bend over frequently.

Must be able to climb on and work around machinery resulting in awkward or uncomfortable positions.

Must be able to sit and drive a forklift on uneven driving surfaces.

Must have vision of 20/50 (corrected or not).
