Responsibilities

Assists with maintenance of tooling by cleaning, inspecting, measuring and balancing tooling.

 

  • Complies with all company safety rules and procedures
  • Cleans and inspects tooling
  • Assembles and disassembles tools for service
  • Measures tooling for pre-determined tolerances
  • Balances all tools to specified requirements
  • Maintains brief turn-around for serviced tooling
  • Cleans, rebuilds, maintains Schiele heads
  • Cleans, organizes and maintains tool room and equipment
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year grinding experience with wood cutting tools
  • Above average mathematical skills; importance of accuracy with understanding results of actions taken when grinding tooling.
  • Must be quality driven with attention to detail.
  • Attain acceptable levels on Work Keys Assessment (Applied Mathematics, Applied Technology, Locating Information and Reading for Information)
